As my designs evolved in the mid 2000s, I began moving beyond basic beading and crimping, and started experimenting with interesting chains and intentional layering. I wanted to create pieces that gave women flexibility — something they could wear at different lengths, with different necklines, and for all kinds of occasions.

This design marked a shift — not just in how I created, but in how women connected with the pieces. More and more, I was meeting customers who were looking for something bolder. These layered chain necklaces became go-to pieces for special events, big celebrations, and those moments when you just want to feel a little extra.

These pieces allowed me to play with shape, movement, and texture in a new way — and they quickly became some of the most talked-about designs at my shows and markets.

At the time, these necklaces ranged from $50 to $100 and up, depending on the complexity and materials used — and they were worth every penny for the sparkle and confidence they delivered.
