Pendant Statement Necklaces – Vintage 2005 Design
Inspired by Manhattan streets. Re-imagined in the glamjulz studio.
In 2005, pendants were everywhere. I had just visited Manhattan for the first time, I remember walking through the city, completely inspired by all the jewellery I saw — bold centrepieces, unexpected materials, and women confidently wearing them like their signature.
When I came home, I knew I had to put my own spin on the trend.
I started designing a wide variety of pendant necklaces — from clusters of vibrant beads suspended from sterling silver rope chains, to natural gemstone drops, to sleek stainless steel pieces with a more minimalist feel. Each one was a little different, designed to reflect a mood, a moment, or a memory.
They quickly became a favourite at shows. Women loved that they could throw one on and instantly elevate an outfit — casual or dressy. It was all about creating a strong focal point without losing that signature glamjulz playfulness.
Designed in 2005, inspired by New York street style
Options included bead clusters, gemstone drops, and stainless steel pendants
Lightweight, wearable, and made to make a statement
Originally priced between $25 and $75, depending on materials
These pieces reflect a time when I was exploring style as self-expression — giving women bold choices to reflect who they were, or who they were becoming. I’m so excited to bring a few of these originals back out into the world.

Love the quality and variety of the necklaces and that I can sit down with Monica and personalize a piece of jewellery in the comfort of her studio.I own several pieces and wear them with anything and everything. Casual with jeans or formal event, it always works.I feel great knowing I have something that reflects my personality.Well priced bling that I will wear and treasure for life. A great investment in me!I ALWAYS get compliments every time I wear glamjulz.I have great admiration for Monica’s heart; her charitable efforts for various community needs makes her the real deal. She cares.
