I’m sure there are some of you that spend the summer months cottaging in the beautiful Kawartha’s, perhaps you live there, or maybe you have enjoyed the area as a day trip, as it is only a 2 hour drive from Toronto. If you haven’t been, it’s time to go… and I’ll tell you why!
Besides swimming and boating in the beautiful lakes, exploring caves, or savouring the delicious ice cream from Kawartha Dairies, there is a town called Fenlon Falls. I know Fenlon Falls well, it’s a place that I visited many times as a young girl. One of my best friends had family there, and we would stay with her grandmother and have all kinds of fun!
Since those days I have always had an attachment to this little town and have kept my eyes peeled for the perfect store to carry glamjulz, and about 5 years ago, I found it! I walked into a beautifully merchandised store called The Butterfly Boutique, and I fell in love instantly with their choice of clothing, accessories and jewelry. Soft and dreamy blue/grey covering the walls throughout, and gorgeous sparkling chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Truly a girls paradise, and I didn’t want to leave. I could have stayed there all day playing dress up and giggling with the sales girl.
Then I met Natasha, the owner. She welcomed me to the store and after a 5 minute conversation, I felt as though we were old friends. This young entrepreneur is truly gifted. She genuinely cares about people and the experience that they have in her store, and it shines through. Everyone that walks through her front door is warmly greeted and Natasha never seems to forget a name. The store is always busy and her customers truly support her passion.
Natasha is a woman that will change the town of Fenlon Falls and make GREAT things happen. She believes in her community and getting people on the road to happiness. I am so blessed to know her, and now our five minute conversations usually last about 2 hours, and I always walk away inspired and refreshed.
Now who wouldn’t want to get in on some of that great energy? Go visit the Butterfly Boutique as soon as you can and tell Natasha I said hello!
