Three Little Wishes Soirée

Magical, transformative, loving, caring, giving and inspiring.

These are only a few words that I could take from the dictionary to describe what happened at our studio on Friday evening!

We hosted our very first Three Little Wishes Launch Party!  The support we received from our guests and local businesses was overwhelming.

Two days before the party I had the pleasure of having a lengthy conversation on the phone with 38 year old Bonnie, the wife, mother and entrepreneur we are helping this year with the sales of our Three Little Wishes julz.

My connection on the phone with Bonnie was immediate.  I fell in love with her right away.  Her attitude, power and strength to face her recent diagnosis of stage four breast cancer knocked me off my feet.

The party was so important to me and the glamjulz team.  I’ve learned over the years that when you want to accomplish great things you need the support of your community.  Did we ever receive that on Saturday night.  Teresa Baerg from Snap’d featured us with a live on location facebook video.  She took the time to interview our guests and really show the Burlington community what the glamjulz Three Little Wishes fund is all about.

Guests like Barb Daize from Body Med Boutique, Melissa Fleishman from Olive Us Care and Jackie Gaulton from Cancer Kindness made a HUGE impact on the evening.  I now feel so much more connected to the people in our community who make it their life’s work to help others and counsel people like me on how to get more outreach and exposure.

We served Konzelmann bubbly, we auctioned off sparkly Swarovski julz that we created just for the event, Mollycake catered for us with their delicious cupcakes, Ettridges built us a chandelier photo booth, Christy’s Gourmet Gifts wheeled in a giant pink cup and donated all of their chocolate sales to Bonnie and her family and we unveiled our beautiful Three Little Wishes julz to our guests.

The evening was filled with sparkles and angels sent to support and help make a difference to Bonnie and her family.

Thank you to all of you who believe in our mission to get to know our community and do whatever we can to provide assistance to those that need it most.  We could never ever accomplish all that we do without you!
