As you may already know glamjulz has proudly spent the last 2 years as part of the Care4 team to help raise money to build Hamilton’s first Breast Assessment Centre. Many businesses in the community are involved in this great cause and with two million more dollars to go we are all thinking up inventive ways to help raise money!
Last weekend Joelle (owner of Joelle’s in Burlington) and I had the pleasure of attending the 11th Annual Hummingbird Ball where I launched my newest jewelry piece for the Care4 Team. Since this year’s ball was a Red Carpet affair I decided to inject a little “Hollywood” into my design and finish the bracelet off with a gorgeous swarovski star. This star represents strength and hope and is a touch stone to remind us all of how important it is to help and support those in need.
This bracelet, along with our Hummingbird Bracelets have both proved to be very successful. But we decided that maybe there was even a little more that we could do.
Over the last month I have reached out to many of you to book a private appointment at the NEW glamjulz studio where you have come to see our latest spring collection and had a tour of our new pad! The results of these custom appointments has allowed glamjulz to donate 15% of your custom orders back to the Care4 Program to further assist with building of the Breast Assessment Centre. The one on one visits have been fun, as it’s something we don’t always get to do. Many of you have brought some gorgeous outfits for spring to match up with the perfect spring julz, some of you have brought friends and introduced them to glamjulz and some of you are booking parties to raise even more money! I am so grateful to you all for your kindness and support.
I’m making my way through the list of all my amazing customers, so if you haven’t heard from me yet, you will soon or PLEASE contact me directly if you are interested in booking a private one on one appointment. I’m compiling a list of all of those that have helped and will be submitting it to the Care4 Team with the donation.
