One of the most rewarding things about owning a small business is that you all become like family. We eat together, we drink together, we enjoy parties together, we talk about life and we hug, a lot.
Then this pandemic happens and even though we can’t be together, nothing breaks the bond.
I was so incredibly grateful this weekend to all of you. Last week was hard for me. I was missing all of you coming out to the studio for our annual Valentine’s Sale. Other events have been missed over the year too but this one hit me especially hard because it marks a whole year since I have seen most of you. Isn’t that crazy? I don’t think any of us could have anticipated that the pandemic would have had this big of an impact or lasted this long.
Today I want to thank you so much for making our Valentine’s sale such a big success online. Your support means everything to me. Not only this weekend but over the past year. I honestly experienced many sleepless nights where I anticipated that I wouldn’t be able to keep things going. You have made me realize that I can. Just like family, you give me an overwhelming feeling of love and security. This year you have given me a tremendous gift and that is to believe in myself and keep creating, no matter what obstacles might come my way.
I have received so many beautiful messages from you as well. All of them make me well up with tears. Everything I make, design and create is because I want to help you feel good about yourself, feel empowered, assure you that you are more than enough.
